What do these adapters do?

The Roll Limitless Adapter allows you to use Electronic Drum Kits (e-kits) and Rock Band Stock Kits/IONs to play Rock Band and Guitar Hero games on PS3/4/5, XB1/Series, and Xbox 360.

The guitar adapter allows you to use 360, Wii, and PS3 Guitars to play Rock Band and Guitar Hero games on PS3/4/5 and XB1/Series.

What do I need besides the adapters?

I include the cable to plug the adapter into the PlayStation/Xbox. In addition to that cable...

For most drum kits, the Roll Limitless adapter requires a MIDI cable. For drum kits that only support usbmidi, a USB-B cable and a USB hub are also required. A controller is also recommended to navigate the game (PS3/4/5, XB1/Series, and Xbox 360 controllers are supported).

The Guitar Adapter just requires a guitar to use

To use the Roll Limitless or Guitar Adapter on Xbox One/Series, an Xbox One/Series Controller is required for authentication

To use the Roll Limitless on Xbox 360, a Wired Xbox 360 Controller is required for authentication

Who are you?

I am known as bookreader52 on reddit, discord, PSN, and XBL. I am a Rock Band fan who was annoyed at the lack of hardware options for Rock Band and decided to make my own! I am a single person and I assemble all the adapters I ship out.

My Adapter is showing up in game, but I don't know how to hit start

If you have a controller plugged into the Roll Limitless, you can use the Start button on that controller. The round button on the Roll Limitless also acts as a Start button.

On PS4/5, I plugged in a Dualshock 4, but it's still controlling vocals

On the Dualshock 4, press the PS Button, then go to adjust devices, then turn off device

The adapter is signed in as Guest instead of my profile

On the main menu, press options, and select Choose Profile

How do I use USBMIDI and a controller at the same time

You can plug in a usb hub into the adapter and plug in the USBMIDI and controller to the usb hub

On an ekit, how do I change sensitivity

The ekit will likely have a setting called "Threshold" for each pad. Raising this number will lower sensitivity, and vice versa

What Footpedals can be used to activate overdrive

The most common USB Foot pedals will act as a keyboard. If this is the case with your pedal, figure out which key the pedal presses by plugging the pedal into a computer, going to notepad, and pressing the pedal to see which key is typed. Then at https://rb4.app/#!/RLSettings , you change the setting under Guitar>Computer Keyboard Keybinds>Select to the key. Then when you plug the pedal into the adapter, it should activate overdrive.

If a USBMIDI device is plugged into the adapter, any midi number will trigger overdrive.
