The Optional Add-Ons section allows you to add PS2 controller ports and/or GameCube controller ports to the Roll Limitless, allowing you to use the Roll Limitless on games such as PS2 Guitar Hero, or PS2/GameCube/Wii DanceDanceRevolution. To see which firmwares are compatible, go to ( https://rb4.app/RLFirmwares ), and under "Filtering Options">"Consoles", click "Clear All", and then select either "Native PS2" or "Native GameCube"

Note: PS2 Rock Band games can be played without the PS2 controller port add-on

 

The Default Firmwares dropdown lets you choose which firmware the Roll Limitless will ship with. You can change the firmware after you receive the Roll Limitless. If you just want to play drums, you will probably want the default Rock Band Drums option. More information on all the firmwares can be found here ( https://rb4.app/RLFirmwares ).

    Handy Dandy ROCK'N'ROLL ENABLER

    I purchased this item for my other half because we purchased electronic drums and wanted to use them to play Rock Band 4.

    My woe turned to joy finding this product. This device appears to work as expected. The default mapping was a bit squirrely with our set, so we made a RB kit on the interface, and he was able to map open closed high hats, etc. from other RB enthusiasts walk-throughs

    This device has opened a whole other experience for us. He's plays an acoustic kit as well, so this is decent 'drum practice' for him.

    The only criticism I could give this device is that the housing on ours is... loose? It's not quite fused together, so I handle it carefully. We don't unplug it, we just leave it where it is. He is perplexed as to why he misses notes one songs he knows very well, but I think it's probably the sensitivity setting and overall timing. Going from the tiny RB kit to a full set of electronic drums is quite a big change (don't tell him I said he's slow :P.)

    We would definitely purchase again if our device stopped working for some reason.

    Works great! Got mine on 2021/08/09. I use the Roll Limitless with a Alesis Nitro Mesh kit on my PlayStation 5. A DualShock 4 is still required as the DualSense is not supported yet unfortunately. My Roll Limitless also came with a start button built in to the top of the device so I can still play if I misplace my DualShock 4.

    It took a bit of fiddling with cables and settings to get it dialed in, but I can't remember the last time I had so much fun. I play until I drop.

    I have had mine for almost half a year and it’s still going strong. If you want it to play rb4 with your e drums then do not hesitate. Thank you for making such a masterpiece!
